Much of Utah's amazing rock art has been destroyed or is imperiled by vandalism and energy development.
For the past three years photographer Diane Orr has witnessed rock art damage across the state: corrosive chemical dust coating
Nine Mile Canyon petroglyphs, bullet holes sprayed across panels everywhere and numerous boulders with archaic petroglyphs chiseled off.
“Utah’s Vanishing Rock Art” is a powerful reminder of what must be protected.
Orr’s large panoramic photographs capture the romantic beauty and mystery of these strange messages from the past.

Rob Bennett has captured a unique view of some of the most beloved Utah landscapes while flying in a Cessna 206.
A high resolution Swiss RC-10 survey camera mounted is in the lower fuselage of the aircraft.
The camera weighs 400 lbs. and exposes a negative that is 9" x 9".
Together with the pilot, Rob must bank the plane and counter-rotate the camera to achieve
the desired exposure, while traveling at 120 mph.
Part of the collection from “Utah’s Vanishing Rock Art”
as well as many of Rob Bennett's stunning aerial photographs will be exhibited at:
