Born and raised in Utah, Jenni Thompson always remembers being surrounded by art. She remembers painting with her Grandma, Erla Young and her mother M’lisa. “We always had paper and paints at our house”, she remembers. “We never lacked on creative materials.”
Jenni is mostly influenced by contemporary Richard Deibenkorn and his abstract expression. Jenni also relates some of her influence to her Dad and the construction industry.
Jenni studied at BYU for five years and the U of U in Fine Arts.
