Beginning in early childhood, Utah Artist Steven K Sheffield has expressed himself through painting, only once on his mother's walls. He has a B.A. from BYU, and a Master's degree from Utah State University.

My Art is continually changing. I paint in distinctly different styles and mediums, it keeps my work fresh and innovative. Steve works on synthetic paper as well as canvas and board. He is known for his visionary and moody oil landscapes, his abstract-expressionist acrylics, and luminous watercolors. He paints and teaches at the Rockwood Artist Studio's in Sugarhouse where he enjoys his camaraderie with his fellow artist. He has exhibited in numerous show, receiving a number of awards, including 4 'Best of Show' awards. He is a signature member and past chairman of the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, and is a lifetime-honorary member and past president of the Utah Watercolor Society.
