Kaethe (pronounced Kate-ah) Radomski was born in Waldenburg Germany and educated in Munich. She has a home in Salt Lake and one in Torrey where she enjoys so much of the beauty that living in Utah offers.

"I had pursued several occupations before a friend introduced me to wood-turning in 1973. After that I only wanted to work with wood. I spent six years in California with cabinet and furniture makers learning some of the basics of woodworking, mostly building kitchen cabinets and furniture spending my spare time turning.

In 1980, I moved to Utah and after working for two years in our one-car garage, built my own shop. since then I have concentrated on designing and building furniture and smaller pieces.

The grain, color and texture of wood still fascinate me as much as on the first day. My goal is that the finished piece will do justice to its innate beauty."
