I have lived most of my life in Utah, raised a family and worked in the professional community. The first time I touched clay, the feel, the smell and the realization of what could be created with it all came together for me as the perfect medium.

My art combines a deep love for primitive art, indigenous people and nature. Stories, names, patterns and textures form each piece. This artful expression illustrates the mystical and mysterious existence that the ancients created with the earth as their only tool of expression. I have found great joy in recreating their primitive lives in clay and hope to pass that joy to the viewer.
