UTah Artist Hands has been a long time dream of owner Pamela O'Mara. In fact in February 1999 Pam had a epiphany - and the vision of her dream place began to take shape. She wanted to create a place where the diverse talents of Utah artists could be appreciated by all. She wanted to give local artists an outlet to be seen and to be able to tell their stories.

Pam's background was in interior design and computer graphics as she raised her six wonderful children. After a life altering Grand Canyon river trip with her daughter Molly in 2001 Pam made the decision to go for it.

UTah Artists Hands opened it's doors on February 1st 2002 exactly three years after the now infamous epiphany. Twenty-five artists caught Pam's vision that year and the number has grown to almost ninety today. The result is just exactly as Pam had envisioned and UTah Artist Hands has become a staple in the Salt Lake art's community.
